The State of the (dis) Union

The Democrats have gone berserk over the GOP’s ambitions to privatize Medicare. Yet, that’s exactly what Obamacare itself has done, in arranging for private health insurance for the poor, disabled and uninsured.

Likewise, the GOP continues to lambast Obamacare, which is the very privatization that they embrace for elderly Americans. They’re all schizophrenic, both sides.

Obama sets the example, golfing over the long holiday – in Hawaii of all places – while every other American is sick with worry over the fiscal cliff.

” Suck on this, mother fu*ker. “

The jobs situation is bad and getting worse by the day. Yet, Washington continues to issue 100,000 new work visas a month to high tech workers, plus another 100,000 to new legal immigrants – while ignoring the 100,000 new illegals who enter America each month.

The 150,000 jobs we create each month aren’t even enough to put young Americans entering the work force for the first time to work — much less the 300,000 high tech, immigrant, and illegal immigrant workers – much less the 20 million Americans who are un- or under-employed.

Ten years ago we invaded Iraq when they delayed access of U.N. inspectors to their nuclear research labs. Iran hasn’t allowed U.N. inspectors into their facilities since Obama was elected. Iran brags all the time about creating nuclear weapons.

Iraq had a couple hundred centrifuges enriching uranium. Iran has twenty thousand centrifuges working 24/7. Apparently Washington has decided it’s OK for Iran to have weapons of mass destruction.

The “Arab Spring” in Egypt toppled a moderate Western-style regime and replaced it with an extreme fundamentalist-style Islamist government. Ditto for Morocco. Libya was already overwhelmingly Islamist and fundamentalist.

Recent elections in Libya further authenticate the radical’s hold on power there. Iran and Iraq are closely allied now, in working to keep the thugs in Syria in control. Evidently radical Islamic regimes are now the accepted norm in the Middle East.

The Republican’s solution to our economic malaise is to prolong the Reagan-era “trickle down” economics, giving tax breaks to the wealthy on the assumption they will create new jobs. The only problem is that rich people aren’t content to be millionaires or multi-millionaires.

The new standard is “billionaire.” They won’t create any new jobs with their tax refunds. They have their sights set on the mega-millionaire/billionaire club. They’re going to sock all that money away – and buy more stocks in publicly traded corporations…

The Democrats are falling all over themselves to get the hispanic vote. They have blocked every effort to legitimize votes by requiring people to show a photo ID when they vote. They’ve given de facto citizenship to 2 million young Hispanics who were brought here as children.

They’ve blocked Arizona from deporting any illegal immigrants – a policy now in place in all states by the refusal if ICE to detain any illegals unless they are known felons.

The Democrat’s crown jewel, Obamacare, imposes twenty new taxes on the middle class. The Republican’s economic road map to prosperity takes away a hundred middle class tax breaks.

Meanwhile, all the leaders of both parties exclaim how their plan is the best to save the middle class from extinction. Who do they think they’re kidding?

The Democrats need boatloads of money to prop up the 50% of black kids who never graduate from high school, to raise the 40% of American kids who are born under Medicaid (overwhelmingly blacks and hispanics), to feed the 95% of black kids who depend on food stamps to keep from starving, and to give free health care to 13 million illegal immigrants and their families.

The Republicans need boatloads of money to prop up the billionaire and multi-millionaire’s lifestyles. (85 cents of every dollar in political contributions you make pays for their gala “fund raising” parties).

Bill Gates gets $25 whenever you buy a Microsoft product, he owns so much Microsoft stock. Ditto for almost every other product you buy. Who needs inflation when 95% of the wealth in America is concentrated in less than 1% of the population, whom collectively own so much public stock that every purchase you make sends 8% sales tax to your state capitol and another 8% to some billionaire.

It’s a sad, sad day for true conservatives in America.

It’s a sad day for true liberals too, as much as I hate to say so.

We’re all being played like puppets and brainwashed like POWs.
