Hollywood Blacklists Director Bigelow for Zero Dark Thirty Torture Scene

Ed Asner and other Hollywood fat cats are waging an anti-Oscar campaign against director Kathryn Bigelow for graphic torture scenes in the award-winning film Zero Dark Thirty.

" Where is she ? Are you willing to die for that whore Kathryn Bigelow ! "
” TELL ME WHERE SHE IS ! Are you willing to die for that whore Kathryn Bigelow ! “

The film is a blow-by-blow recounting of the intel operation, planning and invasion of Osama bin Laden’s compound by Navy Seal Team Six.  The drive by media adore this film because it shows Obama as the supreme commander who made it all possible.

Well, they liked it before they actually saw it!

There’s one small problem.  Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal insisted on including a disturbing torture scene because that’s what really happened, that’s how we found out where Osama was hiding, and that’s how you do a film advertised in the opening credits as “based on actual events.”  To their credit Sony Pictures backs them up in all of this hoo-hah.

The first hint of consternation came from Washington.  Liberal wonks in Congress were deeply offended that “enhanced interrogation techniques” were depicted in this film.  Who are they kidding?  Those morons actually think the American people don’t see right through their rancid subterfuge?

OF COURSE THEY TORTURED THOSE TERRORISTS.  JUST ASK GEORGE W. BUSH…

California Senator Dianne Feinstein said the film is “grossly inaccurate and misleading in its suggestion that torture resulted in information that led to the location” of Bin Laden.  They wanted the studio to attach a disclaimer saying the film is fictional.

Of course the film is fictional.  Obama didn’t orchestrate the whole thing.  He was out playing golf when the raid started.  Senior aides had to haul him by the scruff of the neck into the special operations room to witness the final assault on a big screen TV.  How come nobody in Washington is angry at Sony for not showing that part of the story?

Well, needless to say, all this didn’t go so well for the drive bys.  Time to ratchet up the heat.  My God, the Golden Globes is only a couple of weeks away – if Bigelow wins for best director, we’re screwed.

Thus began a campaign by piss-in-your-face Ed Asner and apocalypse-then Martin Sheen.  They called on fellow actors to vote against the film.  Ed Asner said Kathryn Bigelow is, “in danger of becoming part of the system.”  LOL

I guess telling the truth is something that’s as scary to Hollywood as a real life Seal Team Six invasion with live rounds and a stealth chopper.

Bigelow didn’t get a Golden Globe, and she probably won’t get an Oscar at the Academy Awards next month.  Nobody ever likes people who speak the truth.  Especially Tinseltown.

Kathryn Bigelow has my vote, dammit.
