Kindergartners Could Do Better than Washington

Okay, children, quiet time is over. Time to pass the 5% federal sales tax on all Americans.  Easy money!  Get your wooden calculators out and do the math. This tax nets you $40 billion a year.

You still need to find another $460 billion to avoid sequestration and to pay for Obamacare.

Sit back down, children! Did I call recess? No!

Get your tablets and crayons out. Write this down. The twenty Obamacare taxes already include a 5% excise tax on investment income (which is the source of most income for the wealthy.)

Any of you snot-nosed kids live in California? Kudos, your state has the fifth largest economy in the world. Your playground buddies just passed at 10% tax on millionaires.

All you Congresschildren representing California – get your filthy thumbs out of your mouth – I bet y’all won’t sign off on a federal millionaire tax, will you?

Notice the stock market lately? You, Oregon – get your thumb out of San Francisco’s butt hole.

Don’t lick it – that’s gross!

Europe is in the second quarter of a new recession. We’re soon to follow – the feared double dip recession. Think boogey man, child.

I don’t hear any crayons writing on your clay tablets. What does all this mean?

It means no money from a 5% tax on the wealthy, not during any down years in the stock market – which is, like forever – the net gain in stocks for the last ten years is zero. Nil. Zilch.

Hey, button up your blouse little girl, Congress isn’t a bordello!

We need the extra 5% federal sales tax just to pay for Obamacare. Doh! You only get a net gain if the economy improves. But Obamacare is a drag on the economy so the economy will not improve.

Okay, I give up. Recess time. Let’s go play on the merry-go-round.

Goober! Wake up…
