Political correctness is sporting a new hair style. It’s the “I hate Congress” banner. It’s spreading like wildfire in the scorched east Texas plains under the stiff wind of Obama’s vehement rhetoric.
It’s growing in crescendo, trumpeted by both parties, all the media, and 95% of the American people.

Public Policy Polling conducted a ”poll” that has been wildly popular in the last week. People are asked to rate Congress against various heinous things like cockroaches, lice, traffic jams, used car salesmen, gonorrhea and root canals. Congress lost on all counts, by a huge margin.
Is this what our culture has degenerated into? We elect people to make difficult decisions, constrict them to our own narrow prejudices, then tar and feather then when they do what we demand of them?
Are we so enamored with our own egos that we go orgasmic over the belittling of the most selfless, public-spirited individuals in each of our own communities? Is the whole “I-can-hate-you-in-email-but-love-you-in-person” phenomena gotten to the point where anarchy is good?
Half of you people go ballistic when anybody mentions cuts to your Medicare or Social Security benefits. The other half goes berserk over the growing national debt.
NONE of you balance your own household budget. ALL of you run an average credit card debt of $7000. 2/3rds of you are obese or overweight.
And your dare to get insanely upset when Congress doesn’t give you what you won’t pay for? Infants have better manners than that. At least they throw tantrums over things that matter, like crap in their pants or cold oatmeal.
You expect Congress to balance the budget when you don’t? You expect Congress to cut all the pork out of our spending when you are obese on the verge of obscenity?
You insist on being 30-80 pounds overweight. Then you demand free medical care for diabetes, cancer, heart problems, high blood pressure and virtually every other killer of modern man – when almost all of these maladies would never happen if you had an ounce of self-discipline to maintain a healthy weight and exercise.
Bottom line? There is really nothing wrong with Congress. The House of Representatives has churned out dozens of budgets, hundreds of debt recommendations, and a plethora of bills to solve all our fiscal problems.
They’re all sitting on Hari Reid’s desk, the Senate Majority leader. He has not passed a single budget in four years. He has not allowed votes on any major piece of legislation other than continuing resolutions to fund the government with Obama’s gross $1 trillion deficits.
It’s Hari Reid who is worse than used car salesmen, cockroaches, smog, traffic, gonorrhea, root canals and lice.
The Senate Majority Leader.
