This is the terrifying story of aliens (the ones from outer space) who first take over Los Angeles, then the world. First they take over your mind, then they “rapture” you away into their spaceships.
Aliens aren’t stupid.
LA is definitely the first place any smart alien race would take over, right? LA is the conduit directly into our living rooms, the expressway into our psyche; the sexual jackpot, the spiritual Holy Grail, the every everything.
This story isn’t about advertising or unfulfilled dreams or spiritual enlightenment, though. It’s about monsters invading and obliterating everything we hold near and dear. Obama invaded Hollywood, but all he took from us was hope.
Advertisers have a stranglehold on Tinsletown, sure; but no more so than lobbyists in Washington DC. Wall Street bankers absconded with our homes and stock portfolios and 401Ks, but that’s nothing new, either. Skyline is more than that, much much more.
Skyline is primal and visceral. It’s a force that gets into your brain and short circuits your humanity in a manner of seconds. It eliminates your basic human drives for procreation, continuation of the species, raising a family, and passing on your own priceless genes to the next generation. This force channels all our primal drives into one, single, solitary obsession.
I call it the “gay force.” Humans have many basic instincts: The sex drive, the drive to have and nurture a family, the drive to continue the species, the drive to survive, even. All these basic drives are re-circuited by the “gay force” into one single, omnipotent force: The continuation of your kind by the creation of more gays, more and more and more of them.
Gays have no genetic future. They have no desire to procreate, or to pass on their genes to the next generation. Their future is in propagating their way of life. They don’t even have to worry about immortality of their soul because they have none.
All they care about is getting into your head, infiltrating your city, overwhelming your defenses and those of your society, then taking over.
LA is a gay battleship. Through the Hollywood media, gays bombard the rest of the world with their message. Through LA, gays attack church groups, political groups, entire nations. They transmit their insidious message constantly, world wide.
The end is near.
Rapture, indeed.
