Why It Matters

Socialism is the norm in virtually every developed nation.  Western Europe has long been socialist, and is getting more so.  The United States, with the advent of Obamacare, is now firmly on the same path.  Even the communist nations now call themselves socialists.

Every major American corporation manufactures virtually all their products in China.  We’re more Chinese than the Chinese themselves.

The financial crisis in the United States following the subprime mortgage meltdown spread to Europe where it led to crippling problems in Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Ireland and others.  All these nations were so overburdened with debt that it jeopardized their very existence.  The rapid accumulation of debt in the United States threatens America with the same horrific problems.

At the heart of these fiscal problems are the burdens of entitlements – retirement pensions, nationalized health care, and the social “safety net” of welfare and unemployment benefits.  Our national debt in the U.S. is $16.4 trillion, but our unfunded obligations to Social Security, Medicare and Medicare are $85 trillion.

The problem is a large and growing class of people who don’t earn enough to contribute to these programs equal to what they will eventually accrue in benefits.  Illegal immigrants to Europe have caused the same problems as illegal immigrants to America – a largely uneducated group of workers in low wage jobs who depend on government dole to pay for raising their children.

These subprime citizens now have political influence, to the point where the entire balance of power in the United States is based on who gets the minority, especially the Hispanic, vote.  These people have no roots in America, and they aren’t the least bit bothered with abstract notions such as national debt and fiscal responsibility.

Socialism gives these foreigners even more power, whether they are bona fide citizens or not.  Illegal immigrants are there to stay.  They know it, and the politicians know it.  Their numbers are growing at such a rate (while the native population decreases, as it should, in reaction to declining economic conditions), they are the dominant factor in the political equation of every developed nation.

Here in the U.S., the power of Hispanics is obvious.  Their issues are the top priority of both parties.  Nothing else matters, nothing else at all.  Obamacare will bring 15 million more people into Medicaid.  Immigration reform will add another 11 million.  Both parties need these voters, so they are anxious to buy them with more and better benefits.

The average health care bill for a family of 4 is $20,000.  26 million illegals will get this for free.  That’s close to $500 billion a year, making our annual deficit upwards of $2 trillion.

All these new people eligible for entitlements like Medicare and Social Security and welfare and jobless benefits have not paid one cent into the pot.  They’ll never pay into the pot even a fraction of what they will take out.  The average educational level of Hispanics is the 9th grade, and remains at that level even after 3 generations in America.

The people who will pay for all this are the middle class, the workers.  Thus, if you associate “National Socialism” with socialism, you’re saying that the workers are forming a system to wipe themselves out of existence by transferring all of their native and ancestral wealth, in whatever form, to the unwashed masses.

All of this happens because the American electorate is evenly divided between the two major parties.  The difference in winning or losing is the Hispanic vote.  The only way this equation will change is if a third party carves out a winning position in the middle class.

The Tea Party tried to do this.  Both major parties excoriated the Tea Party over the budget standoff two years ago.  As fiscal conservatives, the Tea Party is vulnerable whenever they call for debt reduction, balanced budgets, or any sort of fiscal reform.

Now, even the Republican Party has officially targeted the Tea Party conservatives as the enemy.  Speaker Boehner has removed all Tea Party advocates from leadership positions in the House.  Large Republican political action groups plan to fund opposition to any and all Tea Party candidates in the next election cycle.

Thus, we have a situation in Washington where the only people who have the courage to stand up for fiscal responsibility are targeted for extinction by both the Republicans and Democrats.   In a practical sense, this means much higher taxes on the middle class.

The middle class is targeted for extinction.
