There are over 250 sanctuary cities in the U.S., where it it unlawful to check on a person’s immigration status for any reason.
Some of the major sanctuary cities (and three sanctuary states) are as follows:
Los Angeles, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco, Denver, Miami, Chicago, New Orleans, Portland, Baltimore, Detroit, Minneapolis, Reno, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, New York City, Durham, Raleigh, Miami, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Columbus, Dayton, the state of Oregon, Philadelphia, Austin, Dallas, Houston, the state of Utah, Salt Lake City, the state of Vermont, Seattle, Milwaukee, Washington DC
What this means is that illegal immigrants have access to federal unemployment benefits, food stamps, Medicaid, and any state benefit programs for the poor. Since most municipalities have some form of minority set aside programs, these illegals get jobs before any other American.
Illegals in these sanctuary cities can register to vote in state, local and federal elections.
Every illegal vote cast voids the vote of one American citizen (two actually, since less that half of Americans vote.
Illegals serve on juries as well since voter registration rolls are used for jury selection.
