You’ve heard Obama say it a thousand times, “We can’t afford to raise taxes on small business owners – anybody making less than $250,000.” The bar has been raised somewhat lately to the point where people earning less than $400,000 are “small business owners.” Lies! All lies!
According to the IRS, the average income of all Sub Chapter S firms is only $100,000. The vast majority earn less than that.
The net income in the following industries is $26-$55,000 – hospitality, food services, agriculture, fishing, real estate, rental, transportation and warehousing.
The following make $55-$100,000 – art, entertainment, recreation, professional and scientific services and construction.
The following make $100-$250,000 – health care, wholesale trade, financial services and insurance.
Only Sub Chapter S companies in the utilities, manufacturing, mining and management industries make more than $250,000.
