Legal Hispanics, The Chosen Few

You’ ve got to wonder what all the Hispanics here legally think about the 20 million illegal hispanics. It’s hard as nails to get a legal visa to the United States.

Half of Latin and Central America is on the waiting list. Doctors, engineers, architects and all sorts of professionals and skilled workers wait in line like everybody else. It takes years, maybe decades, to get to the top of the line.

" I wonder how many of these wetbacks are here illegally? "
” I wonder how many of these wetbacks are here illegally? “

Then when you do get that visa it’s an uphill battle all the way. You have to spend a fortune and umpteen hours learning English, the most difficult language in the world. You may even have to start from scratch and learn how to read and write in the first place.

You have to pass a test on U.S. civics. You need sponsors and work references and a spotless criminal record. It’s hard. Real hard!

Hispanics are a proud people. They love Jesus and practice their Catholicism with a fervor unequalled in the West. What must they think of their 20 million compatriots who bribe officials and pay drug runners to smuggle them across the border, an average of eight times before they stay for good?

Don’t they feel any umbrage when these illegals play the “good Christian” card or the “good family” card to get a job, an ID card or room and board? I think yes they do, very much so.

The Hispanic community must be mollified that their standing in the American community is so often disparaged because there are so many illegals who violate the rules on a regular basis.

So many illegals who send their kids to school here for free, who abuse America’s policy of turning no person away from a hospital emergency room. With 24 million American citizens out of work, the standing of the Hispanic community falls more by the hour.

Hispanic elders must be mortified. They must have worked very hard in America. They earned widespread respect and admiration for their work ethic and the quality of their workmanship. They are proud that Americans trusted them as nannies, nurses and to daycare their children.

What must this proud people think about the illegals who forge papers, steal identities and on a daily basis break more rules than most good Latinos break in a whole lifetime? They swallow their pride is what they do, because family is important in their community.

They’re choking on that pride. Their morality is shot and their Christianity is greatly diminished. It’s easier than ever to turn the other cheek on the nefarious criminal and drug dealing practices of their neo-American relatives. They have become no better than the illegals.

Shame on the Democrats for urging them on, for giving Hispanics a de facto approval for violating the most fundamental precept of civilization – respect for the law.

You break one law, no matter how small, it’s that much easier to break the next one. You break a dozen laws on a regular basis and pretty soon you think you’re above the law. Shame on the Catholic Church for sanctioning the illegals. How dare the Church bless illegals for coming to America and for remaining here.

The Hispanic community is no better than the hispanic community any more. They’ve enabled the illegals for so long and in so many ways the two groups are inseparable.

It’s no wonder they have withdrawn from the polyglot American community and have become a spiteful, angry group with narrow goals and a predilection for violence.

They’ve all become illegals now in every sense of the word.
