Not long ago, the House voted on the STEM Visa Bill. The bill would give 55,000 green cards to foreign students with advanced degrees in science, engineering, and math.
The bill has now passed the House and is before the Senate. Now they will give 110,000 visas away. They will charge $10,000 per visa, and that money will go into higher education – to pay for illegal immigrants to get advanced degrees.
American companies want foreign engineers and scientists. They want employees with no legal standing so they can pay them low wages and work their asses off. They don’t want American engineers, with a conscience and morals and ethics.
They want menial labor who will do their bidding no matter what the social consequences of their products.
Hell, as far as that goes, American industry has so little money to develop technology from basic scientific research that all the Ph.Ds in industry work for China anymore, improving THEIR industry and THEIR competitiveness.
Of course American companies want more foreign employees because all their efforts are to benefit foreign nations like red China.
You wonder why science and math education in the U.S. is so bad? Used to be, American companies sponsored high school science fairs and internships for American kids – American citizens!
With a steady stream of bills like this – over the last decade, the U.S. has issued 100,000 new visas a MONTH to foreigners and technical people – American companies could care less if American kids are even proficient in arithmetic much less advanced engineering mathematics.
Congress should pass a bill to recruit smart American students in majors like biology or botany, and pay them $10,000 to transfer to majors in science and engineering that are in demand.
Instead, the craven Republicans have branded this bill as a token to the hispanic population – 11 million illegals, many of whom voted in the election, voted for Obama, and are even qualified to serve on juries as registered voters. (Hispanics historically have an average educational level of the 9th grade, even after 3 generations in America.)
We should get rid of morons like Congressman Smith (the original sponsor of the bill) who line their pockets with dirty money from big corporations – big FOREIGN corporations – to do their bidding on our own college campuses.
