Racism is rampant in our society any more, and not just because people seem to speak more freely on the Internet. This is more than that, much more, and it runs the gamut of all population groups.
Spend a little time browsing the top GLBT blogs, and you’re in for a real shock. Those folks are sociopaths!
They abhor religion, conservatives, Baptists, Moslems – straight people! – the level of vitriolic language against the Bible and any other facsimile of religion or science or psychology that in the very least disparages homosexuality – well, let’s just say they’re very intelligent people with capable word skills, and their effective use thereof would deeply offend anybody who approves of gay rights.
Likewise for hispanics websites and their La Raza rhetoric. All the major hispanic media outlets are extreme in their hatred of mainstream American society. They seem to assume that only hispanics can read or understand Spanish, and that any anglo who does understand Spanish is on their side. How stupid can you get?
It’s intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that blacks are racist in the extreme. It’s almost laughable how any black commentator on any channel in any venue on TV is a fawning Obama supporter.
Five short years ago the black community was up in arms about how illegal immigrants were taking all their jobs away; the entry level jobs that were the first run on the path to middle classdom. Not any more!
They were strongly against abortion and gay rights and even welfare. Not any more. Obama has singlehandedly taken away their culture, their religion and their dignity. How much lower will they be after another 4 years of Obama?
Meanwhile, the media quite often cites whites for every sin under the sun. They don’t see it as racist for calling out the Tea Party as a bunch of “fat, bald white men” or the Romney/Ryan campaign as the “last all white ticket.”
And so forth.
It happens so often and with such numbing regularity that you don’t even notice it any more.
And we criticize Saudi Arabian textbooks for teaching that Christians are evil? Hah.
The funny thing is that all you need is one drop of black blood and you’re black. Ditto for hispanics. With all the black and minority set aside programs for jobs and benefits and promotions and discrimination and hate crimes, I think it’s high time there’s an official designation of minority as a percentage of your ancestry.
For most blacks, being black is a lifestyle preference and not a genetic reality. I suspect that applies to Obama himself.
