There’s something truly unnatural about a grown man who follows unconscionable orders to kill 500 cavalry horses without showing a shred of conscience.
People have no inkling of the meaning of service and honor any more.

Douglas Macarthur was a disgusting man with an ego that reached the stratosphere. He was one such man in the nation back then. These days every staff level general is like that, every politician, every CEO of a major corporation, and that’s just the beginning.
The Romans had the technology to harness horses to do the same work as oxen on farms, but they never designed a harness for horses and never made horses do farm work believing they were too noble a creature.
The horse cavalry was the most honorable body of soldiers in the history of war. Their dedication to their horses is unmatched and unparalleled. These days soldiers trust their lives to tanks, technology, computers, and drones — all without an iota of dignity, spirit, soul, or decency.
Imagine, an “animal” who has fought with men for the protection and defense of civilization for thousands of years. Horses are brave, loyal, sensitive creatures. We owe horses more for the civilized species we are than we owe ourselves.
I think we should reinvent the horse cavalry and assign them to patrol the U.S.-Mexico border.
All our technology — our walls, our mechanicalized patrols, our satellite and close circuit surveillance cameras — has proven a total and complete waste of money.
